The DT were lucky enough to get this image from Roberta at Prarie Fairy who is also sponsoring us this week with a prize of 5 of her digital images of your choice. I coloured the image with ProMarkers, the sentiment is by Lynne at Sentiments 4 You and the papers are from Tracy Ann Digital Art.
The snowflakes were cut with a punch and some glitter added to them.
I love this image and have seen it coloured in lot's of different ways and it always looks lovely. I coloured the image with ProMarkers, but I did almost choose to use my Aqua Markers.......lol I made the flowers myself and sat them on glittered snowflakes instead of greenery. The snowflakes were cut with a Mariannes Creatable die. I even got my sewing machine out for this one..... lol. I can't remember for sure, but I think the papers are from Pink Petticoat.
A closer look at the image.
A closer look at the flowers.
The image I used for this one is Santa Baby & Fawn, which you can buy and download HERE I love these images they're just so cute! The image is coloured with ProMarkers, the backing paper is from Pink Petticoat, the snowflakes we cut with a Mariannes Creatable die. I distressed the edges of the backing paper with the Tim Holtz distressing tool and I also added some distressing round the image using distress ink and cut n' dry foam.
I used Penelope Pegasus for my card this week, you can buy Penelope HERE. I coloured her with ProMarkers and added some sparkle to her wings. I cut the frame with a die from Mariannes Creatables, used a MS border punch for the lace border, I made the pin myself. The backing paper if from Willow Designs.
The image I used is, of course from Digi Doodle Shop, and is called Santa Baby & Snow Fun, which you can buy and download from HERE. The image is coloured with ProMarkers with some glitter added. The snowflakes are cut from a die from Mariannes Collectables, the snowflake border is cut from a MS punch. I made the dangler with beads from my stash and added the snowflake charm at the bottom. I think the backing paper is from Pink Petticoat.
I'd like to send this award onto these lovely people.
I really like this sketch, it's my kind of thing, not too fussy.....lol. The image is of course from Lili of the Valley and I've coloured him with Aqua Markers, I really like using these pens. The big snowflakes were cut from a Marianne die and glittered up.
A close up of the image and the sparkly bits.... for the small snow flakes I cut them with a punch, stuck them do the image piece, then added some glitter, so it looks like it's snowing......

And the flower I made myself and sat them onto a glittered snowflake which we cut with a Marianne die.
I used the lovely floral image, Calliopsis for my card which you can buy and download HERE Now we don't have these flowers here in UK (well I don't think we do... lol) so I had to google them to get the colours right. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and made the flower using a punch, the backing paper is from Pink Petticoat.
The image I used is Mother Goose which you can purchase on DVD HERE, the backing paper is from Pink Petticoat, the flowers I made using a punch and the image is coloured with ProMarkers.
I think this is perfect for Away in a Manger, don't you?
The Poinsettia is cut using one of the Marianne dies, I just glittered it up and the sentiment I printed of the computer and cut out with a spellbinders die. I didn't have the right colour card to mount the image onto, so I used the same ProMarker I used to colour the image, and coloured the edges of the die cut, so it matches perfectly!
The image is from Beccy's Place and I coloured it with distress inks. I used a cuttlebug folder for the embossing then mounted the Poinsettia into the centre.
A close up of the Poinsettia.
And a side view so you can see the dimension.
I stamped snowflakes on the acetate using white Stazon
And added just a little bit of sparkle, well you have to have it on Christmas cards don't you..... lol.
And here's my DT card.
For my backing paper, I crumpled a piece of paper up a couple of times, flattened it out then rubbed over it with a distress ink, then I ironed it out. The image is one of the new Christmas stamps from Lili of the Valley, and she's coloured with ProMarkers. The snowflakes were cut using a spellbinders die.
I coloured my image with distress inks and added some a bit of sparkle to the furry parts. I love this stamp and it will be going on quite a few of my Christmas cards this year. Loved this sketch to Bev.
I bought this stamp last year, but only used it a couple of times as I'd already made most of my Christmas cards. I coloured the Poinsettia on his hat with ProMarkers and added some gold coloured gems. The snowflakes are a combination of a cuttlebug die and punch, the big one is from a cuttlebug die and the smaller one from a punch. The sentiment is stamped onto a nestie die cut. The backing paper is from Pink Petticoat.
I coloured the image with the usual ProMarkers.....lol, and distressed the background with distress inks and cut n' dry foam. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the embossing and again used distress ink just to soften the edges a bit. The lace is from my stash and I added a little bit of card candy to finish the card off.
I used 2 of the new releases for this card, Princess Shona and the Castle. The images are coloured with ProMarkers and I added some sparkl to it all. The backgroun was distressed with distress inks and I added tiny sequin stars. I also distressed the edges of the backing paper using the Tim Holtz distress tool.
A close up of the colouring and glitter.
And a side view so you can see the dimension.
And my DT card
I had an order for a wedding card so decided to use Wynneth's sketch to make the card. The backing papers are from Pink Petticoat and the image is on of Mo's at Digital Pencil Too.
