Toppers, Tags & ATC's Challenge #5

Over on TTA's this weeks challenge is in the theme of Plants/Trees/Flowers. For my topper I used the tree stamp from Sir Stampalot, the stamp is just a bare tree (no leaves or flowers on it) I used a brush marker pen straight onto the stamp rather than an ink pad. I then used a slightly damp paintbrush to pull the colour into the tree trunk from the stamped image. Then I used a couple of SeeD stamps to create the leaves and flowers. I used a SeeD border stamp, then mounted up onto coloured card.

Red Button Fairy

I made this button fairy this week and gave it to my sister in law today, who has had an operation this week. I wanted to give her something personal and I knew she would like this as she loves anything red and also likes fairies.

Please take a minute to sign this.

There is a petition being sent to 10 Downing Street which reads -

'We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Agree that if a Cancer Drug works, then it should be freely available on the NHS.'

If you agree with this, please take a minute to add your signature here

We need to make changes. Someone I went to school with had lung cancer and was eventually prescribed cancer drugs, after a massive fight to get them. Sadly he died just 3 weeks after starting them. He'd probably be still here if he had been able to get them when first diagnosed. He was 46. :-(

Tags, Toppers & ATC's first challenge.

This is for the 1st challenge on Sally's new challenge blog which you can look at here. The theme was 'Birthday'. I used a Cuttle Bug embossing folder to emboss an ATC size piece of pearlescent card and rounded the corners with a punch. The image is from Pink Petticoat, coloured with brush markers and added white glitter for the sheeps wool, mounted it onto an oddment of purple card stock. The greeting was typed on the computer and the flowers were cut from a punch and a gem added in the centres to finish off.
Now come on everyone join in with our challenges. :-)
