Willow Sketchie Challenge 26th November

It's Willow Sketchie time again and this weeks sketch was desinged by Katie, who makes great cards with using backing papers! Why not pop over and take part in this challenge.
Here's my card.This is a digi image from Lily Boo. I coloured it with ProMarkers and added some glitter to the tops of the pudding.A couple of close ups.

4 Challenges, 1 card!

Getting good at combining challenges aren't I..... lol. This card is for Sketch Saturday, Passion for ProMarkers, Papertake and Whiff of Joy.I was stuck on what to do with the background of this card as I don't have any BP that would match this colour, so I got my distress inks and cut n dry foam out and distressed straight onto the card. The image is of course coloured with ProMarkers, the flowers are cut with the retro flower punch, the holly is from a punch too.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers and the snowflakes were cut from a cuttlebug die and a spellbinders die.

Sassy Designs by Susie & One Stop Craft Challenges

I've combined 2 challenges with this card. The present challenge over on Sassy Designs by Susie is Pink & Sparkly and on One Stop Craft it's Snowflakes. I made an easel card for these challenges.The snowflakes are cut using a cuttlebug die and a spellbinders die. I also embossed the backing card with a cuttlebug embossing folder.A side viewA close up view.

Whiff of Joy #56

There's a lovely sketch to follow this week over on Whiff of Joy, and some really great cards for inspiration.
Here's my card, sorry the picture isn't too good, but the lightine is terrible at the moment for taking pics.
The image is coloured with the usual ProMarkers and I added flower soft to his had for a change from glitter, I do love glitter on Christmas cards....... lolA close up of the candy cane charm.
And a close up of the flower which is cut from a punch, and sprinkled with Twinklets Diamond Dust.

Die Cut Dreams #24

It's Monday and time for another challenge over on Die Cut Dreams. This weeks theme is Puppy Love. I was a bit stuck for my DT card for this one, but found a lovely digi image from Mo's Digital Pencil.
I went with the colours blue and brown for a change. I think they work well together, don't you? Of course the image is coloured with ProMarkers and a little bit of the essential sparkle for Christmas cards.

Sassy Designs by Susie

My last card for today is for the 1st challenge over on Sassy Designs by Susie. I came across this digi image while blog hopping, I think it's lovely and makes a change from cute. Sorry about the picture, but it's been terrible trying to get decent pictures today.
I coloured the image with ProMarkers, for the gold swirly bits I used a gold gel pen.And of course some glitter to the tops of the puddings, well you've got to have glitter for Christmas don't you..... lol.

Friday Sketchers

This card is for this weeks challenge over on Friday Sketchers. The image is a stamp by The Stamp Man and I've coloured it with Mica Paints for a change. The flowers are made with a spellbinders die and ribbons are from my stash.A close up of the image.

There's a lovely sketch to follow this week over on Just Magnolia I enjoyed this sketch so will be using it again.

Tilda is coloured with the usual ProMarkers with just a little bit of sparkly added.

Sketch Saturday & Penny Black

This card if for 2 challenges this week, Sketch Saturday and Penny Black. I'm not sure if the image is by PB or not as I was given the stamped image by a friend, but I know the sentiment it. So I've used the sketch from SS and the theme on PB is a card for a male. This is an easel card but I forgot to take a sideways photo..... lol.

Die Cut Dreams #23

This weeks challenge over on Die Cut Dreams is all about Santa, a great theme don't you think? I used my favourite Santa stamp and one of my very first Christmas stamps. I used ProMarkers only for Santas face and added a few gems to the snowflakes, the background was done with a stamps. I bought the ribbon from Wilkinsons, and the black part is actully furry.... lol.

WSC on Craft Bubble 14th November

It's my turn to host this week over on Let's Get Stamping on Craft Bubble. I decided to make this weeks challenge to make an easel card as well as following the sketch.
Here's the sketch.
And here's my card. I used a Forever Friends stamp and coloured the image with ProMarkers. The embossing was done with a cuttlebug folder, the snowflakes are made from a punch and for the backing I simply stamped snowflakes straight onto the card.And a side view.


Whiff of Joy #55 & Passion for ProMarkers #24

I've combined 2 challenges with this card. On Whiff of Joy this weeks challenge is to use the colours Ivory, Orange and Brown and on Passion for ProMarkers, there's a lovely sketch to follow and you can use colours of your choice. The BP is from Pink Petticoat

I've never used these colours on a Christmas card before, so wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I like it, so will be doing more in these colours.A couple of close ups.

I used the holly cuttlebug embossing folder for this one, and added some sparkle.

I used a cut and emboss set from cuttlebug for this bauble. I've made this one is different colours too, a nice easy card.

Willow Sketchie Challenge 12th November

It's Willow Sketchie time again and this week we've got a lovely sketch for you to follow, this week designed by Deanne.
Doesn't this snowman look really happy he's from a Christmas set by Inkadinkadoo as are the stamps I used for the background.

I added just a few gold gems too. The ribbon is one I bought last year from Wilkinsons, it's lovely and glittery.Why not pop over and join us for this challenge.
