Over on Willow Sketchie the challenge is the follow the sketch and use buttons and stitching on your project. (just realised I forgot the stitching :-/) I stuck a small gem in the middle of the flower buttons. For this challenge blog you must use at least 1 item which can be purchased from their shop. The patterned papers and bear image are all by Willow Designs.

This is what I've been doing while watching tv this week. I've seen these on other craft blogs which had the link for the pattern, so thought I'd have a go. I used 4ply cotton by Patons and a 2.5 hook. I should just add that the pattern wasn't designed by me, it's available free for anyone to use, here's the pattern if you'd like to give them a go.

This weeks challenge over on Magnolia Vs Stampavie it's a colour combo challenge. The colours we had to use were Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Not Quite Navey and Bashful Blue. These colours are by Stampin Up. As I don't have any Stampin Up inks, I've used the nearest to them. I used a sketch from one of the older challenges on the same blog, to arrange my card.

This is my entry for the monthly LO challenge over on Auntys, we do these just for fun. I couldn't resist using one of the photos I took over in the Dean when we had the snow earlier in the month. I've just started these challenges up again but this time we have to follow a sketch, I love them. Pop on over and have a lookie. It's a great craft forum and sooooooooooooooooooo friendly, but also a bit mad...... lol. There's always something going on that you can join in with. Go on have a lookie, what you got to lose...... lol.

It's the first new look sketchie challenge over on Willow Sketchie this week. For these sketchies you've got to use at least one item from the Willow range, available here. I used 2 for this one, the backing paper and the stamped image. This week we also had to add doodles and something that isn't flat. My image is mounted on sticky pads, I also added beads on top of the sequins.

This is what I've been working on for the last week or so. I enjoyed doing this cake as the decoration was left up to me, as long as the name was there. It's not very often that the decoration on a cake is left up to me. I made this cake for Carol, a friend on Auntys, it's the second cake I've made for her family.
