Crochet Flowers
This is what I've been doing while watching tv this week. I've seen these on other craft blogs which had the link for the pattern, so thought I'd have a go. I used 4ply cotton by Patons and a 2.5 hook. I should just add that the pattern wasn't designed by me, it's available free for anyone to use, here's the pattern if you'd like to give them a go.
Whiff of Joy
This is my first time entering the challenge on Whiff of Joy, hope you like it. I've coloured the image with the usual distress inks.
Sketch Saturday
This card is for the challenge over on Sketch Saturday I decided to use a Sugar Nellie stamp for a change and coloured the image with distress inks.

Brilliant Blog Candy to win!
Bev has some great blog candy on offer. Pop over to her absolutely lovely blog here to be in with a chance, you'll just love her work and get loads of inspiration from her too, I know I certainly have.
Magnolia Vs Stampavie
This weeks challenge over on Magnolia Vs Stampavie it's a colour combo challenge. The colours we had to use were Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Not Quite Navey and Bashful Blue. These colours are by Stampin Up. As I don't have any Stampin Up inks, I've used the nearest to them. I used a sketch from one of the older challenges on the same blog, to arrange my card.

My first LO in a long time
This is a scrap LO of my daughter Becky ready for her prom in June last year. I did this as part of the monthly team challenges over on Auntys. Pop over and have a look, it's a lovely friendly forum to be part of.
Willow Sketchie
It's the first new look sketchie challenge over on Willow Sketchie this week. For these sketchies you've got to use at least one item from the Willow range, available here. I used 2 for this one, the backing paper and the stamped image. This week we also had to add doodles and something that isn't flat. My image is mounted on sticky pads, I also added beads on top of the sequins.

Christening Cake
This is what I've been working on for the last week or so. I enjoyed doing this cake as the decoration was left up to me, as long as the name was there. It's not very often that the decoration on a cake is left up to me. I made this cake for Carol, a friend on Auntys, it's the second cake I've made for her family.
