Passion for ProMarkers & Sketch Saturday

I've combined two challenges this week, Passion for ProMarkers and Sketch Saturday. Over on PfP you have to use the colour Apricot and Cool Aqua and also include handmade flowers, and there's a great sketch to follow on SS. The backing papers are from Pink Petticoat.I just love this image, it's a download from Charmed Cards and Crafts. I also glittered her wings.
A close up of the flowers and glittery wings.

Anyone for Anya? - Ooops this isn't an Anya....... Sorry

For this weeks challenge over on Anyone for Anya?, there's a lovely sketch to follow. I like this sketch, so it'll be used again, probably on Christmas cards..... lol.The backing papers are from Pink Petticoat, I coloured the image with ProMarkers, the sentiment is a stamp set from StampinUp and I made the rose myself using a punch.
A close up of the flower.

WSC on Craft Bubble 26th September

This week on WSC on Craftbubble, we have Cherry as our GDT, she's come up with a lovely sketch and her twist is to use decoupage. Most of my cards for challenges are going to be Christmas cards, as I really need to get them made. I don't buy cards at all so I have quite a few to make...... lol. Here's my DT card. Why not pop over, join our group, Let's Get Stamping, and join us in our weekly challenges.

The snowflake is a free digital download from Fred, She Said There are some lovely downloads to buy there, it's definately worth having a look. There's some beautiful flower downloads and tutorials too.

Peachy Keen Stamps Candy!

Peachy Keen Stamps have some great candy up for grabs. Why not click on their picture on my sidebar and take a lookie...... ;-)

Anyone for Anya's?

This weeks challenge over on Anyone for Anya is Funky Flowers. I love this image and think it makes a lovely Christmas card.
I used my ProMarkers to colour the image, and added some glitter to the fur parts. I made the flowers myself from vaious punches and die cuts, then added just a little bit of glitter. I found the instruction for the Roses on the internet.

Delightful Sketches #7

I came across this blog Delightful Sketches, a few weeks ago and just got round to joining in with their challenges. There's a lovely sketch to follow as a link to some lovely digi downloads from Digital Delights. Their images are lovely and well worth going for a look, and you won't be able to resist. My farourites are the Raccoons, I love those little critters since seeing them in the gardens when we've been over in Florida.
Anyway here's my card for this fortnights challenge.
I used a stamp from Daisy & Dandelion, stamped with Distress Ink, then used the same ink to add some colour to the image and to distress around the image. I made the flowers myself from vaious punches.

Birthday Cards for my 2 Sisters

It's both of my sisters birthdays in the next 2 weeks, one 30th September and the other on the 9th October, (and mine inbetween on the 1st October.... lol) so I thought I'd do their cards at the same time, since I've got so many Christmas cards to make.
For the first card, I used a digi download from Willow Designs. As my sister is an avid knitter and has her own wool shop in the town, I thought Knitting Winnie was perfect to use for her.
Here's a close up of the flowers which I made up myself using punches and die cuts. I came across the instructions for the Roses on the internet and just added the other petals to fill the Rose out a bit.For this card I used the Alphabet and sentiment stamps from Dimension Fourth, and give the capital letter a coating of glossy accents. This card is plainer than the other one because this sister isn't the fussy type IUKWIM...... lolI made the flower using various punches, I also made the bead dangler from beads in my stash.

Christmas Cards

For the first card I used letter and sentiments stamps from Dimension Fourth, the idea is also from them. I gave the capital letters a coat of glossy accents, so give them the shiney surface. The snowflake was cut from a Cuttlebug die and the snowflake panel is a Cuttlebog embossing folder.
This snowflake was a freebie from Fred, She Said but I'm not sure it's still available, click on the link then you can find out. I coloured the snowflake with a ProMarker then added the glitter and some gems.

2nd Card for This Weeks Challenge on Craft Bubble

I've made another card for this weeks challenge on Craft Bubble and here it is.I stamped this image using a Distress Ink pad then used a water brush to drag just a little bit of the colour inwards. I don't think this image needs alot of colour.

WSC on Craft Bubble 19th September

This week over on Lets Get Stamping on Craft Bubble, we made the challenge a little bit different. We have Lauren as GD and we asked her to design her own sketch and choose her own twist. She did brilliant with it too. Her twist was for us to make our own backing paper from elements of a stamp and then use the stamp as our main image.

Here's my card.I stamped using versafine embossing ink the brushed it over with mica powder, it make the image appear on your paper, I enjoy using it. I heat embossed the main image using gold embossing powder and added the gems.
That's another Christmas card done!

Just Magnolia #22

This week on Just Magnolia, the challenge is to use embossing of some kind on your card. I used dry embossing for mine. Anyone for Anya's? & Passion for ProMarkers #17
