It's such a long time since I entered a challenge on Whiff of Joy, so thought I'd give it a go this week. The challenge this week is to follow a lovely sketch. Here's my card.
I love this image and have seen it coloured in lot's of different ways and it always looks lovely. I coloured the image with ProMarkers, but I did almost choose to use my Aqua Markers.......lol I made the flowers myself and sat them on glittered snowflakes instead of greenery. The snowflakes were cut with a Mariannes Creatable die. I even got my sewing machine out for this one..... lol. I can't remember for sure, but I think the papers are from Pink Petticoat.A closer look at the image.A closer look at the flowers.

I've not entered a challenge on Passion for ProMarkers, for such a long time, but have been popping in. When I saw this weeks challenge I thought my new stamp from Lily of the Valley was perfect, so managed to get this one done yesterday. The theme for the present challenge over on Lili of the Valley is Seasons, so I'm entering this card there too.
I think this is perfect for Away in a Manger, don't you?The Poinsettia is cut using one of the Marianne dies, I just glittered it up and the sentiment I printed of the computer and cut out with a spellbinders die. I didn't have the right colour card to mount the image onto, so I used the same ProMarker I used to colour the image, and coloured the edges of the die cut, so it matches perfectly!
Today sees the start of a new challenge over on Diecut Dreams Christmas Club and this week, we'd like to see you use Poinsettias somewhere on your project.
Here's my DT card. The image is from Beccy's Place and I coloured it with distress inks. I used a cuttlebug folder for the embossing then mounted the Poinsettia into the centre.A close up of the Poinsettia. And a side view so you can see the dimension.

Here's my DT card.
As we're being sponsored by Digital Delights this week we all got to work with their images, I used Gingerbread House.I stamped snowflakes on the acetate using white StazonAnd added just a little bit of sparkle, well you have to have it on Christmas cards don't you..... lol.
This week over on Craft Mad & Loving It! we've got Cherry as GDT and she's provided a lovely sketch for everyone to work with and her twist is to have a go at making your own backing papers.
Here's Cherry's sketchAnd here's my DT card. For my backing paper, I crumpled a piece of paper up a couple of times, flattened it out then rubbed over it with a distress ink, then I ironed it out. The image is one of the new Christmas stamps from Lili of the Valley, and she's coloured with ProMarkers. The snowflakes were cut using a spellbinders die.
This is my first time entering the challenges over on Lili of the Valley, for the simple reason that I've not had any of their stamps until just lately. I bought some of the Christmas stamps last week and am now waiting for more to arrive......lol very addictive aren't they.....
I coloured my image with distress inks and added some a bit of sparkle to the furry parts. I love this stamp and it will be going on quite a few of my Christmas cards this year. Loved this sketch to Bev.
This is my first week as a DT member over on Diecut Dreams Christmas Club and the theme is 'Snowmen'. Don't you just love snowmen, well ok then, I do.....lol.
Here's my DT card.
I bought this stamp last year, but only used it a couple of times as I'd already made most of my Christmas cards. I coloured the Poinsettia on his hat with ProMarkers and added some gold coloured gems. The snowflakes are a combination of a cuttlebug die and punch, the big one is from a cuttlebug die and the smaller one from a punch. The sentiment is stamped onto a nestie die cut. The backing paper is from Pink Petticoat.
A new challenge has started today over on Digi Doodle Shops Best, and this week we want to see you use your favourite stamps.
The DT also had to choose their favourite stamps from Digi Doodle Shop, which as I'm sure you can imagine isn't an easy thing to choose...... lol. I went for the Bird Bath which you can buy and download HERE I do love this image and think it always makes a nice card.
I coloured the image with the usual ProMarkers.....lol, and distressed the background with distress inks and cut n' dry foam. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the embossing and again used distress ink just to soften the edges a bit. The lace is from my stash and I added a little bit of card candy to finish the card off.
