Brusho Tags

When I was playing with the Brushos at first, I used some small tags, here's 2 that I stamped and stenciled on.

No idea which colours I used here, was too happy sprinkling and spraying..... lol.  I used a stencil for the image by Crafters Workshop and it's called Mini Urban Landscape.  I inked through the stencil with Black Soot Distress Ink, the NYC was stamped with alphabet stamps from my Aunty's.

First I stamped with clear embossing powder onto the white tag, heat embossed it, then sprinkled black Brusho on the bottom half, love how it resists the embossing.  The birds were simply stamped with black Versafine.  All stamps are from Inkylicious.

Brushos

I'm still enjoying playing with my Brushos, they're so addictive!.... lol.

Using a stamp from Inkylicious again stamps with Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powders.

I used just 2 colours on the background for this one, Gamborge and one of the reds, not sure which.  Once it was dry, I stamped a vine stamp and coloured it with Emerald Green Brusho.  I used a stamp by Dina Wakely for the bird which I stamped the twice, once on to the background to look like he's sitting on the branch, and again on a separate piece of card, which I coloured again with Brushos - Yellow and Turquoise.  I don't do painting watercolours, but did enjoy this.  I cut out the coloured bird and placed him over the one stamped on the background using just a little bit of glue gel.  I finished of stamping the vine at each side.

One I made earlier......

I made this card a week or so ago, but never got round to blogging it.

I used a die from Go Kreate to make the shape of my inky part, I used the negative park and inked though it onto a piece of card.  I used Adirondack inks, and brushes for blending them.  The image is a stamp from Inkylicious which was stamped with Versafind and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I'm not sure on the brand of the sentiment stamp as it was in a set I got from my Aunty's.

Brushos

My crafting friend KathyK introduced me to Brushos last weekend, to say I was impressed is an under statement, I love them!  So once I got home, I just had to order some, they arrived on Wednesday and I couldn't wait to start playing.  Here's my first complete card.

I used just 2 colours on this one, Purple and Turquoise.  I used my Tim Holtz spritzer to blow some air on the wet ink, which gave me the 'twig' effect.  Once the Brushos had dried I stamped the Dandelions with black Versamark then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I added just a tiny bit of glitter to finish it off.  The stamps used are from Inkylicious.

Winter Wonderland - Krafty Christmas

For our challenge this week, over on Winter Wonderland, the theme is 'Krafty Christmas', so we need to see Kraft card on your project, which doesn't have to be Christmas themed.

Here's my DT card.

I'm loving this Bokeh technique at the moment and so easy to do.  The small snowflakes were cut with a punch, the large one with a die from DieSire, the sentiment is a digi, but I can't remember where from......  I used distress inks and adirondack inks for the background.

February Challenge at Lavinia Stamps (28.2.15)

This month challenge over on Lavinia Stamps is 'Bright & Beautiful'.

All stamps are by Lavinia, of course.  I stamped with Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, the inks don't smudge when adding the coloured inks that way.  I like to stamp first then add the colour, I know some do it the other way round.

Same Stamp But Different

The main stamp used for these 3 cards is called Woodland Wonder and it's by Pennyblack.

I also used a lamppost stamp also by Pennyblack from the 'On The Town' set.  No moon on this one just the glow from the lamp.

Just using the stamp and masking of a moon.

Sunset/rise for this one, with a Deer stamp from Clarity.
Inks used on all of these cards a a mix of Distress Inks and Adirondacks.

Visible Image Inkognito Butterfly

Now I'm not a lover of butterflies at all, really don't like the real ones at all, and I don't use them much at all in crafting.  But this stamp from Visible Image is just fab.  Here's 2 cards I made this week using it.

Heat embossed with a simple inked background.

3 layer stamping for this one, and heat embossed for the topper.  I also added a bit of glitter to this one, but it doesn't show very well on the pic.

Winter Wonderland

The theme for this weeks challenge over on Winter Wonderland is 'KISS (keep it sweet & simple).  Our sponsor for this one is Di's Digistamps with a £12 voucher for the lucky winner.

Here's my DT card.

This cute stamp is by Stampendous and I've used ProMarkers to colour the image.  The sentiment is a stamp by Just Rite.
