GDT Spot Over On Anyone for Anya?

I got an email from Dawny earlier in the week asking if I'd like to be GDT over on Anyone for Anya for the next 2 weeks, well I couldn't turn this opportunity down could I? This weeks challenge is to follow a sketch, which I love.
Here's my card.I quite like the crispness of this card, and notice no backing paper!.... lol sometimes cards just don't need it do they, I may just do this on a few future cards, it's a change too.
I coloured my image with the usual ProMarkers, the sentiment is from a stamp set from Stampin Up.

Here's my card
I used an image kindly sent to me by Katie
I coloured the image with ProMarkers and I tried machine stitching on card for the first time, here's a close up of the stitching.

Die Cut Dreams # 28

This weeks challenge over on Die Cut Dreams has been set my Vikki and the challenge is Snowflake Surprise. You've got to make a card with either a hidden snowflake or a detatchable gift with a snowflake on it. Well I've got to admit, I did find this one a real challenge, but don't you think it's good to have something to get the old grey matter working...... lol
Here's mine and it's my Christmas card for my DD Becky, she loves it, and the snowflake is now hanging on the Christmas Tree.
The snowflake is a medallion stamp which I heat embossed, then added a little irridescent glitter to some parts of it.

WSC on Craftbubble December 19th

There's a bit of a change this week for the sketchie challenge over on Lets Get Stamping on Craftbubble. It's Laurens turn to host this week and the challenge is to make a bauble or tree or both...... lol. I made both, but not happy with the bauble but I love the tree.I used the inverted circle nestie 3 times, and then ran them through the big shot in an embossing folder. Then finished of with a little bell at the bottom and some glitter.I found some patterned acetate amongst my stash, so thought it was perfect for this three, the snow flake is cut with a cuttlebug die. I added strips of paper round the bottom then added glitter.I couldn't get the acetate to stick together, so ended up punching holes though it and fastening it with some silver cord, I think it looks ok, don't you?

Die Cut Dreams #26

I'm a day late posting this one, sorryyyyyyy. Anyway this week over on Die Cut Dreams, we've got a colour combo for you, Sage & Onion Stuffing...... lol, thats green, cream and beige. I decided to have a change from a card this time so I made a Luminaria. I came across the instructions HERE while flitting about on the net a couple of weeks ago.I'm not very happy with the pictures but the light has been really bad lately and this is the best I could get. Inside is a flameless candle which you'll find in £ shops. I did, after I'd paid £3 for 4! I coloured Tilda with ProMarkers and added a bit of sparkle to her fur trims. The flowers were made using the spellbinders Poinsettia die.

WSC on Craftbubble December 5th

This week over on Let's Get Stamping on Craft Bubble, it's Katies turn to design the sketch, it's a lovely sketch to work with, so why not pop over and have a go. Katie's twist this week is to use your stamp more than once to create your topper. I used the stamp 3 times to decoupage the snowmans hat and then the flower. I don't think this stamp needs any colour, so decided to just colour the flower and add a few gems to the flower centre and to the snowflake.

Getting good at combining challenges aren't I..... lol. This card is for Sketch Saturday, Passion for ProMarkers, Papertake and Whiff of Joy.I was stuck on what to do with the background of this card as I don't have any BP that would match this colour, so I got my distress inks and cut n dry foam out and distressed straight onto the card.
