Colours of the Wind

Well I've had a lovely crafty day today, and have been playing with some new stamps from Visible Image.  I won a competition they ran over on their Facebook group.  You had to use one of their stamps that was the free stamps on the Craft Stamper magazine. And this stamp was part of my prize.  Now, because I have a few of their stamps already, yes I've been buying them for a few years now, out of the 5 stamps that were the prize there was only 1 I didn't already have.  So Helen kindly sent me a code to use to choose the stamps I wanted.  So this is one of them.

This gorgeous stamp is called Colours of the Wind, and I love it!  I used a couple of Brushos for the background - Lime Green and Brilliant Red, sprinkling them on the card first, then spraying with some water.  Once dry I stamped with Versafine and embossed it with clear powder.

Below is the card that won the challenge for me, bit ironic that I won it using  butterfly stamps, when I'm not a fan of butterflies at all..... lol.  But I do love these stamps. More details for this card can be found if you scroll down the page a bit.

Visible Image - Tall Grass

I was having a rummage through my stamps, trying to get them in to some kind of order yesterday.... lol, and came across this one which I've not used in ages, so thought it needed using.  I love making this kind of card, it can be used for any occassion, so I left of the sentiment till I use it.  The stamp is from Visible Image and called Large Tall Grass.  I stamped it with Versafine then heat embossed it using clear embossing powder.  I then cut a moon and used it as a mask.  I then added the colour using blending brushes with the following inks - Distress Inks in Black Soot and Dusty Concord and Adirondacks in Eggplant and Cool Peri.

Visible Image & Brushos

Today I thought I'd use us some tester sheets I had from when I used Brushos for the first time, you know, just testing out the colours and effects..... lol.  These were on watercolour card so didn't stamp and emboss to good, but they're not bad.

All stamps used are from Visible Image, the top one used stamps from the Revolution set, the bottom one is Inkognito Woman, just love these stamps, sentiment is from the 'Be Happy Set' and I used the 'Crackled Backgound' stamps round the edges.

Tim Holtz Tags of 2015 and Visible Image

I know I'm late joining in this with my first tag, for Tags of 2015 but I'm going to go back and do the 3 I've missed for this year...... lol.

The stamps are from Visible Image and I cut 'beautiful' on my cameo as I don't have any word dies.  I used Distress Ink markers to colour the images.

I'd like to enter this into the present challenge over at Artistic Stamper where the theme is Flora & Fauna.

Visible Image Butterfly

I used Distress inks and Adirondack inks applied with sponges for the background. I used the Inkognito Butterflystamp for the main image and also the Large Butterfly stamps for the top layer of the butterfly, which was attached with foam pads for the 3D look, and the free stamp on Craft Stamper for the borders.  I coloured the Butterfly with the same inks.
All stamps are by Visible Image.

A side view to show the 3D Butterfly.  Colours of inks used are Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry (DI's) and Shell Pink (Adirondack).

Happy Little Stampers (28.4)

The theme for the present challenge over on Happy Little Stampers is 'Stenciling'.

I inked through a stencil with Adirondack 'Lettuce', then stamped the image in black Versafine.  The stamp is from Bee Crafty, inspired by Banksy.

Blowing Bubbles.........

and Stamps & Stencils is 'Anything Goes'

I coloured the background with 3 colours of Adirondack inks, Terracotta, Lake Mist and Espresso which was applied with dusters.  I used a stencil from Clarity for the white bubbles and the image stamp is Banksy Inspired from Bee Crafty and the sentiment is from a stamp set by Inkylicous.  I finished of with various bubbles stamped in the colours I've used for the background,

Stampscapes

I've had a couple of mens cards to make for this month, so thought I'd play with my Stampscape stamps, and here's the results.

All stamps from Stampscapes apart from the birds which are from Inkylicious, I used Distress Inks to colour the images.  The printed borders and sentiments were made on Word.
