Hearts & Flowers with Visible Image

Time for me to show you a couple of cards using stamps from Visible Image.
I used Aquatints to create the background for this one, on watercolour card.
The stamps I used are -
Bronte Script (background)
Cogs from Time After Time set  (background)
Plasma (background)
Clockwork Heart from Oz Tin Man set
Border stamping - flower stem from Flower Inkognito
This background was created by stamping in Versamark, heat embossing with clear embossing powder, then blending inks over.  I did this 2 or 3 times creating layers.

A Bit More Clarity and Visible Image.

I've been playing with the Clarity bubbles stencil again, along with stamps from Visible Image.
Using just one Distress Ink - Mermaid Lagoon.
Overlaying the stencil and using two Distress Inks - Abandoned Coral and Twisted Citron.
Just one Distress Ink - Abandoned Coral.  I dried the ink off with my heat gun, then placed the stencil over the ink again and pressed through it with Versamark, then heat embossed with Crystal Print Magic from Debbi Moore Designs, to give it shine and sparkle, not that you can see it much on the photo..... lol.

A Bit of Clarity.....

A new stencil and some stamps from Clarity Stamping.  I just love this stencil......
I used just one colour Distress Ink through the stencil, Cracked Pistachio, and just made it lighter in places.  Apart from the butterflies and flower, which are from Inkylicious, the stamps are from the Wee Folk collection, cute aren't they.
I'd like to enter this into the present challenge at Artistic Stamper where the theme is Summer.

Visible Image

It's Sunday and time for me to show you a project using stamps from Visible Image.
I made the background on my Gelli Plate using acrylic paints, and a couple of background stamps.  I then stamped Woman Inkognito in Versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder.  I did the same with the sentiment.
Stamps I used are -
Cracked Background

For the background on this one, I used the 'Shaving Foam Technique', if you haven't tried it you must, it's so much fun.  The sentiment is one of the brand new releases, available now at Visible Image.

I stamped the butterfly twice, once on the card and again on a piece of acetate, which was attached by the body and the wings bent up just a little, and finished of with gems.

GDT at Country View Crafts

I was really happy to be asked to join the rest of the Country View Crafts team as GDT for June.  The theme for this challenge is Shabby Chic, which I think everyone loves.........  It's a while since I've made this kind of card, so I really enjoyed making it.
Here's my card.
The backing papers are from the Linen Closet paper stack by DCWV.  I cut them to size and distressed the edges a little.  I used Sue Wilson dies for the lager oval, and a die from the same set for the sentiment oval.  The sentiment is a stamp by Phil Martin.  The flourishes were cut with a Marianne die and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, which I coloured a little with Distress Inks.

What Really Matters..........

It's Sunday and that's my day to show you a project using the fab Visible Images stamps.  Something a bit different from the usual card for this one.  This also features one of the brand new word stamps which were released on Friday.  If you haven't already, you really should pop over to the shop and see all the fab new stamps for yourselves!
I blew the dust off my Cameo for this one and cut a shadow box on it.  I inked the background with Aquatints, a couple of shades of Adirondacks, Raspberry and Willow and Distress Ink - Vintage Photo. I also over stamped in the same colours,  The flower and words were stamps with black Versafine and heat embossed with black embossing powder.  The flowers and leaves were cut with Sue Wilson Dies.
Stamps used are:-

The theme for Junes challenge over on Lavinia Stamps is 'Any Colours You Like', this is my entry for this challenge.
I used the bubble stencil from Clarity Stamps along with 2 colours of Distress Inks, Tumbled Glass and Tea Dye, which were applied with sponges.  All black stamping was done with Versafine.  I've left the sentiment off till I need to use the card.

Play It Loud with Visible Image

Today is my first day to show you a card made using fab Visible Image stamps, as part of the lovely design team.  I'm thrilled to bits to have been chosen to join them, from the many great applications they'll have got.  So here we go.......

For the background I used Brushos in just 2 colours, then while it was still wet, I used a spritzer to blow the ink around, I love this effect.  I then stamped the image and sentiment in black Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  All the other stamping was done with various Distress Inks.

The stamps I used are -
Play It Loud
Soul Music
Plasma
