I decided to make a side step card this week. This is the first one I've actually finished...... lol I've always got stuck on decorating them before. For this one I used an image from Beccy's Place, the individual strawberries are from there too. The stamp is one I bought in Florida a few years ago and very rarely gets used.

Die Cut Dreams #55

This weeks challenge over on Die Cut Dreams has started today and this weeks theme is 'Life's a Beach', so we want to see a seaside theme on your projects this week.

This weeks prize is a 60 peice kit to make 20 3D butterflies, all you need is the glue to put them together.

The image is from Isabella Sketchbook and coloured with ProMarkers. I added a little bit of glitter to the sea. The backing paper is from a stack I got in Florida years ago, but I'm sure it's by DCWV.

Here's my DT card for this week.The image is from Lili of the Valley, and was given to me by a friend, it's coloured with ProMarkers. The paper is from the DCWV Glitter stack. The butterflys were cut from a cuttlebug die and the flower I made myself using a sizzix die. I added a bit of sparkle to the flower and the butterflys.

The images are from Beccys Place and it's coloured with ProMarkers.I made the flowers using a sizzix layered flower die. I coloured them with distress inks and the pins I made myself.

Digi Doodle Shops Best #13 - Anything Goes!

Sorry I'm late uploading my DT for the new challenge which started today on Digi Doodle Shop Best, just couldn't get onto the main computer due to other things.

Here's my DT card for this week.I decided to make a Christmas card for this one. I have so many to make so will be trying to fit them into challenges wherever I can.... I love this image which you can buy and download HERE
I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added a bit of distress ink round the edges of the embossed panels. I made the flowers using the spellbinders Poinsettia die.

Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club #22

This weeks challenge over on Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club is 'All White Christmas' and you're allowed to use just a little bit of colour, so I went with blue and used only embossing and die cut snowflakes.

Here's my card.The snowflakes were cut with spellbinders dies and mounted up using sticky pads. I added a bit of sparkly to the white layes and gems to the centres of the embossed snowflakes.
I'm really going to try to enter this every week, as I really need to get my Christmas cards started..... lol.

The DT got to work with an image from our sponsor for this week, Prarie FairiDesign Stamps. The image is 'Lewis' and I used him to make a bookmark for a change.

He's coloured with ProMarkers. Woody, our boss Susies, son liked this when he saw it, so I sent him it to use.

Let's Get Stamping on Craftbubble

This week Rosie has set the challenge with a great sketch and twist. The twist is to add something that moves to your card. Well I had to really think about this one and found the perfect image over at Digital Delights It's Bumble Bee Larry in a Plane. I cut out an extra propeller and this is my moving part.

I coloured the image with ProMarkers, the flowers were cut with the retro flower punch, coloured with ProMarkers to made the flowers on the plane. I added some glitter to his wings for a bit of sparkle.

Digi Doodle Shops Best #12 - Sketch

Sorry I'm a bit late getting this uploaded today, just been so busy with other things.

Today sees the start of a new challenge over on Digi Doodle Shops Best. This week we have a sketch for you. I must admit, I struggled with this one...... lol. This week we're being sponsored by Donna at Pear Tree Designs and she gave the DT this image to work with.

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added just a bit of distressing round the edge of the image. I crochet the flower myself and just added a bead cap and pearl brad to the centre, the leaves were cut with a punch and coloured with a ProMarker to match the green on the image.

I added some sparke to the flowers in her hair, her tutu and her ballet pumps. I made the pin myself.

Isabella's Challenge #10

I just came across Isabella's Challenge blog while browsing digi downloads, and thought I'd have a go.

This week the challenge is Black & White with a twist, the twist being that you can colour only your image. I decided to stick to the black and white for all of my card.

The backing paper looks cream but it is white. I took loads of pics for this one and each one was the same, probably because the natural light isn't too good doday. I coloured the image with ProMarkers, the backing paper is from Pink Petticoat, the pin I made myself and the ribbon is from my stash.

Here's my DT Card.My image is a digi download from Isabellas Sketchbook, coloured with ProMarkers and I went over it with irridescent Cosmic Shimmers, though you can't see it in the picture.

As you all know by now, I love to make my own flowers for my cards, I do used bought ones too, sometimes...... lol. These we made using a cherry blossom punch in various sizes, I distressed the petal edges and added some cosmic shimmers and finished of with a few pearls.

This week it's Lauren turn to host the challenge and has given us a great sketch to work with and her twist was ' Edges'. She wants to see techniques that bring out the edges.

I decided to use my new little toy, a Tim Holtz distress tool. So I ran it round all my edges then went over that with distress inks.

Digi Doodle Shops Best #10 - Buttons

First of all, our shop is now back up and running and ready for business, we're so sorry it's been down for a few days, this was due to a techical problem.

For this weeks challenge on Digi Doodle Shops Best, we'd like to see the use of buttons on your project. Now I love buttons and don't like parting with them....... so if I can do it anyone can..... lol Saying that, I forgot to use them, so had to make a quick change to my card, that's why I've only used one in the flower centre. I would've used more if I'd been thinking at the time. :-/

Here's my DT card.For my card I used the Vintage Bonnet image, I just love this one, it's a lovely change from cute. You can buy this image HERE I coloured the image with ProMarkers, cut it out and mounted it using silicone glue. I used Distress Inks on the card base, then stamped over it with a stamp from Stampin Up. I made the flower and pins myself and the lace is from my stash.
