It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new challenge over on I ♥ ProMarkers and we'd like to see your cards with a 'Male Theme'.  This week we're sponsored for the last time by Digi Doodle Shop, it's so sad that they're closing their doors, very soon, for the last time :-(  I for one will miss them a lot.  As usual their prize for our lucky winner is a $10 gift certificate to spend in their online store.

Here's my DT card.

Silver Bells by Just Inklined

I'm loving the images from Just Inklined at the moment, along with my distress inks.  It's been ages since I've coloured with distress inks, simply because I couldn't find the right water colour card.  I emailed Debbie Dolphin as she uses DI's all the time, to ask which watercolour card she uses, she kindly told me and I managed to get some, and oh what a difference, it's lovely to work with and now I'm happy with the results I'm getting, so thank you Debbie.
This card also fits the challenge again over on Polka Doodles, ' Inspired by a Song', the song is Silver Bells.

I used my hougie board to do the embossing, a Stampin Up punch for the scalloped border and a Spellbinders die for the corners.  The pearls are from Mei Flower.

A closer look at the image.

Week 38 at Polka Doodles

Well I had the perfect image for the new challenge over on Polka Doodles where the theme is 'Inspired by a Song'.
The song I was inspired by is 'Rockin' Robin'.
The image is from Just Inklined, which I got as a freebie last year sometime.  You can still get it but you have to buy it.    I coloured the image with Distress Inks, used an embossing folder for the top embossing and my Hougie board for the bottom part.  The greeting is a stamp I got in Florida and the ribbon is recycled from a Lindt chocolate reindeer from last Christmas.

Winter Wonderland Challenge

So sorry I'm late posing my DT card for this weeks challenge over on Winter Wonderland, but we've got internet problems.  We have internet on the main computer, which is my son, Kris's computer, but we can't pick up any wireless connections.  After going through all sorts with the techi people at Virgin, they've now decided we need a new router, so we're waiting for it to arrive, hopefully Monday or Tuesday.  I've snuck onto Kris's computer to upload this card.

Our sponsor for this challenge is the wonderful Simon Says Stamp who have a £15 gift voucher to spend in their online store.  Our theme this week is 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland', so we need to see an animal ore person walking in the snow, on your entries this week.

Here's my DT card
I just love this image which if from Mo's and I used ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to colour it in.

I used Spellbinders dies for the Poinsettia, some glitter from Debbi Moore Designs for the snow and the sentiment was computer generated.
