Winter Wonderland - Photo Inspiration

A new challenge has just started over on Winter Wonderland and for this one we'd like you to take your inspiration from this photo.  Your card must feature Santa to be in with a chance of winning our prize of 4 digi images from our fab sponsor, Delicious Doodles.

Here's my DT card.

This card was made from a Hunky Dory kit.  I did make a card with a coloured image, but then I realised it didn't have a santa on it!  So not having much time to make another, I had to use something from the kit.  I rarely use kits, but they are very handy to have in...... lol.

Anyone for Tea?

This cute little set is one of 30 cutting files on the brand new CD from LaPashe.  I didn't know what to make first...... lol.  The cutting files are in both SVG and PDF formats, so they can be cut by hand on on your electronic cutting machine.  I used my Cameo to cut these.
You can buy this fab CD HERE

Winter Wonderland

This weeks challenge over on Winter Wonderland has just started and our theme is 'For a Child'.  Don't forget it MUST be a Christmas project.  Our sponsor is Pink Gem Designs with a prize of 3 digi images of the winners choice.

Here's my DT card.

I coloured the image with ProMarkers,  the snowflake borders was cut with a Martha Stewart punch and the snowflakes a Memory Box die.  I sprinkled Metal Magic embossing powder around the edges and gave it a blast with the heat gun.  This give the same effect that Frantage does.

This card is for my new great Niece, Daisy Lynn.  She is named after her late Nana, my lovely sister in law Lynn.  Lynn would've loved Daisy so much and she'd have spoilt her something terrible, but I know she will be watching down on her :-)
For those of you that don't know Lynns story and would like to read it, please click HERE to be taken to my Tribute to her.

Sneaky Peek from La Pashe

I have a fab sneak peek for you tonight.  La Pashe have been working with Adela Rossol from Creations by AR and have put together a great template CD!  This CD contains 30 3D templates in both SVG and PDF files, so brilliant for those of you who have digital cutting machines or even if you prefer to cut by hand.
If you're attending the NEC, you can be some of the first crafters to buy this CD for just £19.99, a bargain for all those templates.
La Pashe's stand is number G40, so be sure to stop by and take a look.

This CD is called Spring & Summer 3D Templates.

The DT girls were given a template each to play with and I got the Lantern.

I love this little lantern.  I added some vellum to the insides and a little battery operated tea light.   You could put sweets inside as a nice little present for someone too. I cut all of this, including the cones and pine boughs on my Cameo.

Just Inklined To Hop!

It's the first Monday of the month, so that means it's time for another blog hop with Just Inklined.  If you're following the hop you should've arrived here from LORI'S and after you've left your comment here, you need to hop on over to JOYCE'S blog.  Don't forget there will be 2 spot prizes for 2 lucky people, so make sure you leave a comment on each of the DT blogs to be in with a chance of winning.
Our theme for this is hop 'Favourite Colour'.  I love pink and green together, so thought I'd colour a pink Poinsettia for a change.

I've used the lovely Poinsettia Corner Ribbon image for this one, which you can buy and download HERE.  The image is coloured with ProMarkers, the sentiment is one of a set of 3 stamps I bought on a trip to Florida.  I kept this card quite plain as I didn't want to detract from the lovely image.  I think using lots of embellishments on cards takes the eye away from the image, don't you agree?

This card is available on my website HERE.

This lovely image is called Christmas Boot (lady).  You can buy and download it HERE.  I used ProMarkers to colour the image, a Spellbinders die to cut the main image and an embossing folder for the BP, but I can't remember what the make is, sorry......
