Willow Sketchie Challenge 28th May

It's that time again for the start of a new challenge over on Willow Sketchie Challenge blog. It's my first time this week, in being part of the lovely DT so I was really looking forward to it. I hope you'll all pop over to the blog and take part this week and the weeks to follow.

This week we got to work with Sharons new download, Oriental Delight. Click HERE to be taken straight to the download over on Willow Designs.

I used ProMarkers to colour the image and the backing paper if from Joanna Sheens Oriental CD. The twist of this weeks challenge was the twist something, I twisted come red and gold cord together.

This week it's my turn to host the Willow Sketchie Challenge, over on Craftbubble. If you enjoy following sketches pop on over and join our group, Let's Get Stamping and have a go at our challenge. You can also see the other DTcards by Katie and Sharon. My twists for this week are to use stripes somewhere and also to use buttons. We've done alot of chatting about buttons this last week or so, so I thought it fitting to use them in this weeks challenge. The image is Pertuna Kitty, a digi download available from Willow Designs.

This is the other cake I've been working on this week, a Silver Anniversay cake. The flowers are made with sugar paste.

Katies DT Sketch on LGS - Crafftbubble 16th May

This week it's Katie's turn to set the challenge over on Let's Get Stamping on Craftbubble. Here's the sketch we had to follow along with a couple of twists which are to use a punch and make a card in a size you don't normally use.

I made a DL size card as I very rarely use this size, I normally make either A5 and 6x6. I used a Woody, digi download from Sharon at Willow Designs. I used backing papers from Pink Petticoat and the edge punch from Stampin Up, flower punch by EK Success, and I'm not sure where the the fern punch is from, but if anyone wants to know I will find out. I added to cherry charm to tie in with the cherry on the cake.

DT Call over on IC Sketches

There's a DT call over on IC Sketches. Dawn has done a sketch, for anyone wanting to be considered, to follow. This is my card. The image is a digistamp from The Cutting Cafe, coloured with ProMarkers. The background papers are from Pink Petticoat I decoupaged the top of the cupcake and used 3D gloss on the cherries and chocolate sprinkles.

DT Call

There's a DT call going out on Funky Hand crafts. Today is the last day to send in your applications, so you'll have to be quick to be in with a chance.

Sketch Saturday

There's another great sketch this week over on Sketch Saturday. I used a Pink Petticoat image, coloured with ProMarkers, the backing paper is also by Pink Petticoat. The flowers were cut with retro flower punches and the ribbon, daisy chain and charm are from my stash.

Let's Get Stamping - Craftbubble

Sharon, over on Craft Bubble has had a change around with out weekly sketchie challenge. We now have a Design Team and I'm lucky enough to be one of them along with Sharon and Katie. This weeks sketchie is by Sharon who owns the online digi stamps store Willow Designs The DT had to use Sharons new download of Willow & Woody Owl for this challenge, this is Willow, isn't she cute? Pop on over to Willow Designs, have a look at the lovely downloads, you could also pop over the Craft Bubble and join in our challenges. You don't have to have Willow Designs to join in, just follow the sketchie.

Whiff of Joy

This weeks challenge over on Whiff of Joy is 'Stars & Stripes'. The backing papers are from a stack I bought in Florida a couple of years ago. I coloured the image with ProMarkers, the stars were cut with punches.

Stampavie Challenge #2

The challenge this week over on Stampavie, was to use the colours pink and brown. It's not often I use these together, but I think they go lovely together. The papers are from Pink Petticoat, and I coloured the image with ProMarkers.
