ILPM's #141 - Cute!

The BP is from a very old paper stack that has come apart so I don't have the makers name, sorry.  The border was cute with a MS punch, the corner is a Marianne Die and the flowers were cute with 2 sizes of the Retro Flower punch.  Glitter is the usual chameleon from Debbi Moore Designs.

Think Pink!

As you'll all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so I've changed my background to support it.  It will stay pink until the end of the month, and this post will stay at the top of my blog till the end of the month too, so please scroll down to see my cards.
Some of you will know I lost my dear Sister In Law Lynn to breast cancer 18 months ago, so this is something that's really close to my heart.  Lynn fought a long hard battle for almost 6 years and never once did she give up and I've never known a more positive person than her.  If you'd like to read a little bit more about Lynn, please click on the tribute tab at the top of this page.

Lynn was more like my 3rd sister (I have 2) than a Sister In Law, and I miss her terribly and not a day goes by when she's not in my thoughts.

So this is also in memory of Lynn and to all the people out there living with breast cancer and to those who sadly lost their fight with it.
So don't forget girls,

Poppy Cluster by Just Inklined

Time for another card using an image from Just Inklined.  I love flower images so decided to use Poppy Cluster which you can buy and download HERE.  I thought it quite appropriate with Remembrance Sunday only a few weeks away.

I kept this card quite simple as I didn't want to detract from the fab image.

ILPM's #140 Christmas is Coming!

Yep, it is coming whether we like it or not..... lol.  So for this weeks challenge over on I ♥ ProMarkers we would like to see Christmas cards.

 This is a digi image from Mo's which I bought last year and never used, no idea why as it's just so sweet.  The papers are from Just Inklined, the flowers were cut with a Marianne die, and the holly leaves a Cheery Lynn die, and the sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly and the glitter is Chameleon glitter from Debbi Moore Designs.

 The image and paper are both from Molly Bloom and were freebies with their new magazine.  I used a Spellbinders die to cut the scalloped over and also the fancy one.  The 3 punches I used are the border, the holly and the sentiment.

Just Inklined

Time for my 2nd DT card for Just Inklined and I've made another Christmas card, well I do have a lot to make.... lol, and I love making them.....

Week 42 at Polka Doodles

Time for Team B to host the challenge over at Polka Doodles and this weeks theme is 'Autumn'.  So we want to see some lovely rich Autumn colours, leaves and swirls on your work for this one.

I used the Sundae of Seasons CD for this cards, so the image, BP and leaves all came from this CD.  The swirls were cut using a Memory Box die and the pearls are from Mei Flower.

Just Inklined - Lamp &Robin

It's time to show my first DT card for Just Inklined, I'm so excited to have been chosen to join their DT and get to use their fab images.

For my first card I've used the gorgeous image called 'Lamp & Robin', which you can buy and download HERE.

I used ProMarkers to colour the image, and the dies used are Spellbinders.  The sentiment is a stamp from Wild Rose Studios and the ribbon I bought from my local Boyes store, perfect for this card and the pearls are from my stash.

Winter Wonderland - Photo Inspiration

It's Mariannes teams turn to host the challenge this week over on Winter Wonderland and for this challenge we want to see you take your inspiration from a photo.

 I took my inspiration from the bauble, colour and sparkle.

 I used a fab image from Mo's, Elf Pipa and coloured her with ProMarkers.  The sentiment was stamped with a stamp from Wild Rose Studios, I used a Couture Creations embossing folding called 'Tied Together', pearls and ribbon from Mei Flower, and the usual Chameleon glitter from Debbi Moore Designs.

Silver Wedding Anniversary Card

I was asked to make a Silver Wedding Anniversary card this week, so thought it was the ideal occasion for a white card, I love them!

I used silver card to matt and layer onto and also silver coloured pearls.  This was the first time I've done this kind of card, so make the mistake of embossing the card front first.... lol, so when I came to cut out the centre, it flattened the embossing slightly.  But it took me ages to do the embossing, so didn't want to do it again.  I used Spellbinders dies for the aperture, roses, sentiment and the fancy bits round the sentiment, and also the lattice.  I used memory box dies for the other flowers.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Hope the recipients like it!

Today see's my first DT card for Polkadoodles.  I'm so pleased to be chosen for this challenge blog, the images are just so cute!  This weeks challenge theme is 'Wings & Things', so there's lots of choices for this one.

This image is from the Sundae of Seasons CD which is available to buy HERE.  I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added Chameleon glitter for the sparkle.  The die is from Cheery Lynn, pearls from Mei Flower, I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the embossed panel and the ribbon is from my stash. (recycled from a top.....lol).

 I used a digi stamp from Crafts and Me for this one, love these images and they're so lovely to colours.  The BP is from th Taj Mahal stack from DCWV, the corner is a Marianne die as are the leaves.
