Time for our hop over on Just Inklined. It's seems ages since the last one, but that's because we didn't have one at the beginning of January. For this one we all used the 'Out of the Box' technique, which basically means a part of the image is cut separately so that is extends past the shape of the die used to cut the image out.
Here's my DT card.
The feather on her hat are the 'Out of the Box' part, though they don't extend very much, my image should've been a bit bigger really.
The BP's are from DCWV Linen Closet stack. I love this stack, so have hardly used any of it.....and I've had it a couple of years..... lol. The image, which is called 'Elizabeth, you can buy and download HERE, isn't she lovely. I don't know why I didn't use it before now..... lol. I think she looks very classy! I used a Marianne die for the corners and the bead pins, I made myself. Pearls are from Mei Flower and the ribbon from my stash.
Closer look at the image, coloured with ProMarkers.
Colours used are:
Skin - Ivory, Blush & Dusky Pink
Hair - Tan & Burnt Sienna
Clothes - Satin, Morning Mist, Tan, Mustard, Warm Grey 1, Soft Aqua, Aquamarine & Cool Aqua
Now, remember there are 2 spot prizes up for grabs, the winners will be chosen from the comments left on the DT girls blogs. If you're following the hop, you should've arrived here from Lori's blog and I'm the last one in the hop, but if you're lost you can go to Joyce's blog to start again.... lol.

Fabulous!....all the DT creation are fab, too. I love this technique of cutting 'outside the box', but don't use it often enough. xx
